"Blue seas, virgin islands and colonial past"

Andaman Tourism

Embark on a trip like no other as we unveil the alluring shades of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Nestled in the Bay of Bengal, this archipelago is a paradise waiting to be discovered. Known for their pristine strands, vibrant marine life, and lush verdure, the Andaman Nicobar Islands gesture trippers seeking an escape into nature's embrace. The Andaman and Nicobar islets are a group of islets located in the Bay of Bengal, and they form an Indian Union territory. Replete with turquoise blue water strands and a bit of history, Andaman and Nicobar islets are a little slice of paradise put away around 1,400 km down from the east seacoast of landmass India. Port Blair, the capital of this union home, has a major field and seaport connected with the rest of the country and with colourful sightseer islets via multiple diurnal ferries. Havelock and Neil islets are popular among excursionists for their white flaxen strands and excellent diving options.

Andaman and Nicobar islets comprise 572 islets, only 37 of which are inhabited, and many are open to excursionists. Havelock Island is one of the largest and most popular islets of all the Andaman and Nicobar islets. Trippers generally enter from Port Blair via flight or boat and spend multiple nights in Havelock and Neil islets, which offer some great resorts.

The southern seacoast of the Havelock islet has the fascinating Radhanagar Beach, while the azure beauty of Vijayanagar Beach is positioned towards the east of the islet. Maybe the most endearing point of Neil Islet is its three flaxen strands: the videlicet Bharatpur Beach, Sitapur Beach, and Lakshmanpur strands.

Port Blair is generally used as a base megacity to catch ferries to nearby islets. Still, excursionists also spend a day or two exploring the city and nearby strands. People also take day passages to Ross Island, North Bay Island, Baratang, and Jolly Buoy islets from Port Blair.

Andamans have the most fantastic sand and some of them also give the occasion to try out a number of Water sports, such as Scuba Diving, Snorkelling, Sea walking, etc. North Bay Island near Port Blair, Elephant Beach on Havelock Island, and Bharatpur Beach on Neil Island are three popular strands to try out watersports. Elephant sand and Kalapather sand are two other strands where the daylight and evenings are absolutely godly.
