Malay Technology Museum
Malay Technology Museum, also known as Muzium Teknologi Melayu locally, is located on the Kota Batu Road in Bandar Seri Bengawan. The museum focuses on the traditional use of technology in Brunei and is a great place to learn about the technological and cultural development of the country.
The building of the museum is said to be donated by the Dutch/Shell Group of Companies in 1984. Malay Technology Museum is a great learning spot for all those interested in the history of Brunei, and especially in the history of the famous water village, Kampong Ayer.

Pantai Seri Kenangan
The Pantai Seri Kenangan Beach lies in the Kuala Tutong area of the Tuton town. Translating to the ‘unforgettable beach’, Seri Kenangan lives up to its name. The beach is eminent for its powdery white sand which is extended beyond infinity via the glistening mirror-smooth water.
Lying at a distance of 2 kilometres west of Tutong city, Seri Kenangan is the nearest beach to this town and is only a 5-minute drive from here. The beach lies amidst an area surrounded by coconut palms which just add to the picturesque scenery.

Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque
One of the most beautiful mosques in the Asia Pacific, Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque, named after the 28th Sultan of Brunei, is located at Bandar Seri Begawan. The first national mosque of Brunei, it seems to be floating on water due to the beautiful design of a lagoon around it.
At night, the stunning mosque is illuminated, and the sight of its beauty takes one’s breath away. The highlight of the mosque, the main dome, is covered in pure gold. The visitors can climb to the top of the mosque minaret through an elevator and bask in the sweeping panoramic view of the city.

Located at Bandar Seri Begawan, Tamu Kianggeh Market is a roofed street market in Brunei presenting a wide array of shopping and eating alternatives. It showcases all the distinguished goods of Brunei along with the traditional hand-woven handicrafts.
The Tamu Kianggeh Market comprises of a series of stalls selling different products ranging from food and beverages to souvenirs and groceries. Gulingtangan, a traditional brass musical instrument is played by the local people at the market and the ancient goods and antiques which are almost dying out are at a sale to preserve the culture.

Tasek Lama Recreational Park
Located at Bandar Seri Begawan, Tasek Lama Recreational Park is a beautifully constructed park housing a natural waterfall and a lake which are a source of the city’s drinking water. Also referred to as the Waterfall Park, it has jungle trails, picnic spots and an observation tower.
The Tasek Lama Park is a jungle oasis in the midst of the city and a common spot for routine walkers and joggers. It is easy to spot a wide array of flora and fauna in the park such as cheeky macaque monkeys and interesting flowers.

Tasek Merimbun
Located in the Tutong District of Brunei, the Tasek Merimbun is the largest natural lake in Brunei. At a distance of about 70 kilometres from the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan, the lake is surrounded by a 7800-hectare Tasek Merimbun Heritage Park.
The lake is in the shape of an ‘S’ and is connected to the main island via a wooden footbridge. This area was declared as an ASEAN heritage site back in 1984 owing to the rare flora and fauna inhabiting the area. The Tasek Merimbun beholds the water from the streams of river Sungai Meluncur and Sungai Bang Oncom. The water of the lake is blackish in colour owing to the fact that the water moves through woodlands loaded with peat.

Ulu Temburong National Park
The Ulu Temburong National Park is a 550 square kilometres national park situated in the Temburong District in Eastern Brunei. Commonly referred to as the ‘Green Jewel of Brunei’, it is renowned for its wildlife which is home to over 40 species of butterflies and the ‘exploding ants’, one of the rarest species of ants.
Apart from the scenic beauty and wildlife safaris, Ulu Temburong has several other facilities on offer such as the relaxing feet treatment and massages, exhilarating water tube rides, speedboat and longboat rides, and a waterfall. The Ulu Temburong National Park covers nearly 40% of the country's southern district while only about 1% of the total area remains accessible to the public.
