Khambhalida Caves
Khambhalida Caves, also known as Rajkot Caves, are a set of three Buddhist caves. They are located near the Gondal town in the Rajkot district of Gujarat. They were discovered in the year 1958 by a renowned archaeologist, P.P. Pandya. Out of the three caves, the centre cave is named chaitya and is a worn out stupa.
Two sentinel statues (the left one being the stone of Bodhisattva and the right one being that of Vajrapani) also stand guard atop a nearby cliff face which looks down on a hound of Buddhist Caves which date back to the 4th century AD. These caves date back to the 4th century AD and are believed to be the oldest caves in Rajkot and a true architectural wonder. The Khambhalida Caves are being maintained by the Archaeology Department of Gujarat. The caves were cut out of limestone rocks.

Pradhyuman Zoological Park is located near Lalpari Lake in Rajkot, Gujarat. It is commonly referred to as the Pradhyuman/Rajkot Prani Sanghralaya. The area covered by the park is 137 acres wide. Many locals and tourists visit this place as a popular picnic destination as an excursion or a school tour visit. Rampara Wildlife Sanctuary
Located in a tranquil setting in Rajkot, Gujarat, Rampara Wildlife Sanctuary is sprawling acres of land boasting of rich wildlife, both in terms of flora and fauna. Considered to be a haven for bird lovers since the sanctuary attracts a lot of migratory birds in the likes of ring dove, large gray blabber, yellow-throated sparrow, purple sunbird, common peafowl and partridges etc., it is also not unusual to find several deer and antelopes flocking the place. Ranjit Vilas Palace
Ranjit Vilas Palace is located in Rajkot, Gujarat, and was built by Maharaja of Wankaner H.H. Amarsinhji. It covers an area of 225 acres.
There are no visitors allowed inside the palace except for under special circumstances granted that they have permission from the present descendant of the Jhala dynasty - High Royal Highness Dr. Digvijay Sinh Zala. The palace is decorated with a fusion of historic architectural styles borrowed from the Mughal, Dutch, Gothic and Victorian architecture. However, the maintenance of the palace has been the centre of scrutiny by many of its visitors.

Rashtriya Shala
Situated on the Dr Yagnik Rd in Rajkot, Rashtriya Shala is an institute that is believed to have been set up by the Father of Our Nation - Mahatma Gandhi. Sprawling over a vast 66 acres of land area, the institute was set up in 1921, and the land for the same was donated by the then leader of Rajkot Shri Lakhajiraj. Besides documenting the life and times of Mahatma Gandhi himself, the centre is closely related to the Non Cooperation Movement as here you can find several data, artefacts and segments relating to the same and also about India’s fight for independence.
Currently, the centre is largely a school that caters to students to impart educational and vocational training like manual oil pressing, ikat, khadi, cotton, and patola weaving etc. On an average, the school is attended by approx. 700 students that are taught in two shifts. Besides everything, Rashtriya Shala is an important tourist attraction in town and is visited by several tourists frequently.
